DSSF Mission Statement
NURTURING PEOPLE POWER TO ACCOMPLISH INCLUSION, WELL-BEING AND RECOGNIZED POTENTIAL.
The Developmental Services Support Foundation (DSSF) partners with the Kern Regional Center (KRC) and other organizations serving those with special needs. Our goal is to help improve the quality of life for developmentally disabled individuals and their families.
The foundation’s Giving Fund assists with purchases not covered by KRC or other agencies. The DSSF Giving Fund provides the process for the foundation’s social investment. Foundation activity includes providing financial emergency support to individuals/families with special needs and the organizations serving them.
Who We Serve
The Foundation is expanding opportunities for underserved individuals and families to promote fundamental life improvements. There are more than 12,000 developmentally disabled adults and children at risk for developmental disabilities in Kern, Inyo and Mono Counties…
